The renowed armour maker and vice president of the association,
Mr. Miura, gave a lecture about newly made kabuto.
These newly made kabuto were already broadcasted in a television show in Japan,
but seeing the parts in real live can not be described.
Also the very large and realistic praying mantis maedate brought by Mr. Miura,
and the story about the struggle how it was made, was very rewarding.
Andy Mancabelli, a student of Mr. Miura, and who came from the USA to research Japanese culture,
showed the late Muromachi style suji kabuto he has worked on for the last three years,
and was admired for the workmanship.
After the meeting, we had a great time during the bounenkai (end of the year party),
while discussing armour related things.
Next years meeting will be in January at the ceremony of wearing armour at the Nihon Budokan,
therefore no normal meeting will be held.
We end this year by wishing everybody all the best for the coming year.
